River Rats paddlers had a full and fun day on the Kalang River at the Urunga Dragon Boat Regatta on 3 May 2026, taking on multiple divisions both on their own and in combined crews. Racing as the River Rats, the team lined up in the Women’s 10s and Opens 10s, putting in steady, competitive runs throughout the program. They also teamed up with the Wauchope Dragon Flys joining forces as the River Flys in the Women’s 20s and Sports Mixed 20s. The highlight came in the Women’s 20

A great day on the Clarence River at the Grafton Dragon Boat Regatta, with our partner club, Wauchope Dragon Flys. It was made even more special by ending the day with some bling!
