Grafton Regatta success!

What an awesome weekend! We all had a great time racing up in Grafton this weekend just past. Saturday saw 10 Rats join with the Waratahs to compete in the grueling 6km two bridges marathon, with a boat load of only 16 paddlers, Waratahs came in second place! Not too shabby!

Sunday was a beautiful day, and you couldn't ask for a better venue! 31 Rats braved an early start to the day, but we were well rewarded! We managed to field a full mixed crew, TWO open 10s crews, and a Womens 20s crew with 16 paddlers. There were plenty of firsts, first races, first time stroking, first time drumming.. plus we had a few paddlers returning to the sport after some time away. It was awesome!
